Simsby, Eccles and Sekito Join #TeamSearoo

Searoo Sports are pleased to announce 3 additions to #TeamSearoo for the 2020 season, Trevor Simsby, Ben Eccles and Naoki Sekito.

American Trevor Simsby joins Searoo Sports following a successful year on the Asian Tour, where he split his time between the Asian Tour and the Asian Development Tour where he finished 7th on the Order of Merit securing full playing rights on the Asian Tour for the 2020 season.

Trevor, a decorated Amateur reaching the WAGR top 50 attended the University of Washington. Following his Amateur career he graduated through Korn Ferry Tour Q-School, making 17 starts on Tour over 2 seasons.

Trevor made the decision to head to Asia in 2019 and it has broadened his golfing horizons and is currently paying dividends. Trevor seeks to establish himself as one of the leading players on the Asian Tour in 2020.

Joining Trevor is Ben Eccles, Ben burst onto the Australian golf scene with his victory at the 2015 NSW Open and has established himself as one of the leading talents on the PGA Tour of Australasia.

Ben has spent the past 4 seasons in Europe competing on the European and Challenge Tours recording a number of Top 10 finishes. A difficult year in 2019 has seen Ben reassess his European approach and will look to compete on the Asian Tour in 2020.

Naoki Sekito the reigning Asian Development Tour Order of Merit Champion also joins Searoo Sports. The rising Japanese superstar recorded 2 victories and a further 4 runner-up finishes on the ADT in 2019 which saw him crowned champion.

Naoki also made his debut on the Asian and Japan Golf Tours by way of invitation at the Indonesia Open (5th) and Bridgestone Open (26th). Naoki will be the first client jointly managed via Searoo Sports partnership with Yukari Nezu and we are very pleased to have Naoki join our team.
